The nationwide campaign “Waste separation works!” was a significant task that required both organizational skills and creative strategies. The aim of the initiative was to strengthen the importance of waste separation in Germany and to make the topic better known across all age groups.
Inspired by the vision of making a lasting contribution through education and engagement, I took responsibility for the initiative's social media presence. My approach was to transform complex information into appealing, easy-to-understand content to promote both reach and interaction.
My tasks included:
- Social media planning and implementation: Creating and managing campaigns across different platforms to achieve maximum visibility.
- Project management: Close coordination and communication within the initiative team to ensure a consistent message.
- Strategic consulting: Developing new project ideas to bring the topic of waste separation to the public even more effectively.
- Influencer cooperation: Identifying and managing influencers who could spread the message authentically and with a wide reach.
The project achieved a significant increase in reach and interactions across all channels. I am particularly proud of the sustainable communication of the educational mission, which was achieved through innovative campaigns and targeted collaboration with influencers. This project was proof of how well thought-out communication can make major social issues tangible.
